All work is done start to finish by me - handcrafted using all "old world" techniques. The Owner...  Cynthia Peters (formerly Semmerling) is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, holds a degree in Shoe, Boot and Saddlemaking, and attended C. T. Chappel's Bootmaking seminar. She continues learning more about bootmaking and leatherwork by visiting with some of the country's well known boot and saddle makers.   Backyard Boots  a high quality - low quantity shop. Each pair of boots, chinks  or other leather products are made entriely by me - one pair at a time.  This is what "Custom" is all about!   Only fine leather is used in making any product here. Great attention is given to each item - color coordination, detail, artistry and customer desires. Everything I make is truly unique and one of a kind!  I also make all manner of custom chaps and chinks as well as other requested leather goods.
